Who is responsible

The legal identity of the data controller, a postal address and a contact for privacy questions are still being confirmed. They will be published here before the store goes live. The preview has no customer accounts or order collection.

What the prototype collects

Very little. This preview has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising scripts and no third-party marketing tools. Fonts are self-hosted through the framework, so they are not requested from a third-party font service.

The preview basket stores two things in your browser's local storage: the size identifiers and quantities you have added, under the key direct-clearance.preview-basket.v1. It contains no payment details and no personal customer data, and it is not sent to us. You can clear it at any time from the cookies page.

There is currently no enquiry form collecting messages on this site. Hosting may record technical request information; the provider's logging and retention will be documented in the final policy before ordering opens.

What will change when the store opens

A live store will need to process customer, order and payment information, likely through Shopify and a payment provider. That processing is planned, not connected. Before launch, this page will name the providers, explain what is collected, set out retention and the lawful basis for each purpose, and describe any international transfers.

We are not inventing those details now. They depend on final provider choices and contractual terms that have not been approved.

Your rights

UK data protection law gives individuals rights over their personal data, including access, correction and erasure. How to exercise those rights, and who to contact, will be confirmed alongside the controller details above before any real data is collected.

Changes to this draft

This is a pre-launch draft and is expected to change. Any approved policy will be dated and will replace this page rather than sit alongside it.
